Why Have Your Wedding in France?
Starting to plan their wedding, going over their budget and seeing the guest list, the cost was enormous! Sure, they’re family and friends but for one day, all these people whom may or may not have a chance to really visit with, is this enjoyable let alone affordable? Then there is the food, drink and venue to host the family and friends for one day. Asking themselves do the guests really enjoy themselves? Again, all this for one day? So, reflecting on these questions, the couple’s conclusion was no. A one day wedding just seemed astronomical for the amount of time and overwhelming in the planning. Could a destination wedding be cheaper and less complicated? Their conclusion was yes!
A destination such as France has its costs but the value out ways the investment.
Château Destination Weddings in France
As an American, we don’t get to see a lot of castles in the USA. Obviously we don’t have the history for them nor the societal hierarchies that warranted castles that protected domains and possessions and invading foreigners. These historic edifices are what makes being a wedding florist in France so fun for me. I get to go on a ‘tour’ each time there is a wedding and see some beautiful classical edifices.
Each time I speak with a couple and learn about the venue they’ve chosen, I go straight to searching for pictures online. I literally get goosebumps when I see the location and imagine the possibilities of the flowers for their wedding. There are HUNDREDS of castles to choose from! How lucky am I?
