As a wedding florist in the picturesque landscapes of France, every wedding is not just an event but a canvas waiting to be painted with petals, leaves, and love. With each approaching wedding day, a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions fills my mind as I meticulously prepare to bring my clients' floral dreams to life. Here is what goes on in my mind with the thought processes of a wedding in France as the big day approaches:

  1. Floral Vision Clarity: In the days leading up to the wedding, I meticulously review the client's floral vision, ensuring every detail is crystal clear. From the color palette to the flower choices, every aspect of the design must align perfectly with my couple's desires and the wedding's theme.

  2. Logistical Planning: Behind the scenes, I meticulously plans the logistics of flower sourcing, transportation, and arrangement setup and sometimes in the middle of the night! Whether it's sourcing locally grown blooms or coordinating with suppliers from afar, every detail must be carefully orchestrated to ensure seamless execution on the wedding day.

  3. Weather Watch: In a destination as diverse as France, weather can be unpredictable. As the wedding date approaches, I like to keep a close eye on the weather forecast, preparing backup plans in case of rain, wind, or extreme temperatures that could affect the floral arrangements. I will have asked about your backup plan “plan B” in our final floral discussion.

  4. Freshness Assurance: Ensuring the freshness and quality of the flowers is paramount. In the days leading up to the wedding, I start ordering from my trusted suppliers, selecting the freshest blooms and greenery to create stunning arrangements that will captivate guests and adorn the wedding venue.

  5. Attention to Detail: From the grand floral installations to the delicate boutonnieres, I obsesse over every detail, ensuring that each arrangement is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and creativity. Whether it's adjusting the placement of a single bloom or adding a touch of foliage for texture, no detail goes unnoticed.

  6. Emotional Connection: Beyond the logistics and aesthetics, my thoughts are filled with a sense of emotional connection to the couple and their love story. Each arrangement becomes a symbol of their journey together, imbued with sentiment and significance that transcends mere decoration.

  7. Anticipation and Excitement: As the wedding day draws near, a sense of anticipation and excitement fills my heart. The culmination of weeks or even months of planning is about to unfold, and I can't help but feel a flutter of excitement at the thought of seeing my creations come to life in all their glory.

  8. Professionalism and Confidence: Amidst the flurry of emotions, professionalism and confidence is paramount, as I reassure the couple that their floral dreams are in capable hands. With years of experience and a passion for their craft, I approaches each wedding with unwavering dedication and expertise.

As the wedding day approaches, my thoughts of as a wedding florist here in France are a delicate tapestry of creativity, logistics, emotion, and anticipation, (okay and some stress). With every bloom carefully selected and every arrangement meticulously crafted, I’m ready to transform my couple's dreams into a breathtaking reality that will be remembered for a lifetime.
