A little confused about your wedding flowers?

You’re a bride planning your wedding and looking through all the photos on Pinterest or Instagram and admiring the beautiful bouquets and decorations. Oh! that arch is gorgeous, You think. But how did they know how to do that? I want that too! Or, you admire photos of the floral table decor and think, those are my colors but how do I know what the flowers are? And you begin to worry that you won’t have the stunning bouquet you’ve dreamed about, or worse you think you should have taken some floral class or paid attention in your High School botany class. Because now you are out of your league.

Let’s be clear, you do not need to know a thing about flowers to have beautiful wedding flowers on your big day! Trust me, nadda, nothing, nope. That is my job. You are booking various vendors for the day and their expertise is what you’ll rely on to pull your vision all together. You don’t go to baking school to know how to make your wedding cake! How about making those sugared roses that look so pretty on the cake? You probably don’t know much about these. So, flowers and bouquets are the same. You need an expert who knows the flowers, the season for the flowers, how to create with flowers, creating that beautiful arch or overhanging floral ceiliing. That is the job of the wedding florist. Leave the names and genius specie names to me!
Of course you can have your inspiration board and a style that suits you and your style that you want to portray in your wedding but it is the floral designer who will take this vision and turn it into a visual feast for you on the wedding flower proposal. You’ll have flower pictures, flower names, bouquet and decor images from which to get a feel of the floral beauty. There is no need to worry. Remember, you’re hiring me to do the flowers.

Your proposal will be detailed. It has elements to show you what your colors would look like with certain flowers, it has example photos of the style and look.
