Picking wedding flowers in season can help you stay within your budget. These flowers are called seasonal because they are more easily sourced and usually in abundance when it is their growing time.

As we know, growers are now able to fly almost anything in from the other side of the world, but you'll pay a premium for that service and transport and so will the environment. If you want a certain flower that's not typically in season on your wedding day, be prepared to allocate more of your budget, since it will likely be a higher supply cost for your florist.

I’ve created a guide to what flowers are generally in season during certain months to help you get started. You'll want to confirm availability with your floral designer to get the best answer as to what is available (and affordable) during your wedding month! And if you’re dead set on certain flowers, perhaps the wedding month can be chosen based on your flower choices.
