When it comes to pricing your wedding flowers, it can be difficult to look at Pinterest and Instagram and not want the same thing as one of these beautifully styled wedding flower shoots. But as a wedding florist, I want to help my brides not only with their flower selection but to maximize their budgets and add a bit of a reality check to the dreaming. Just because you love one of these posted weddings and it’s out of your budget doesn’t mean we can’t work around things. That is the expertise of an experienced wedding florist. We know our flowers, we know how to create bouquets but an experienced florist will also be honest with you and help you create your dream wedding but realistically within your budget.

Instagram also gives the wrong impression that flowers don’t cost anything. But remember you aren’t just buying the flowers but also the skill and knowledge of the florist. DYI bouquets and flowers from Trader Joes’ aren’t going to cut it. I don’t think you want to be standing on your feet for two days before your wedding prepping and creating your arrangements. Warning…manicure disaster! This investment should be stress free!

What exactly are you paying for when you engage a wedding florist? Your are hiring an expert with years of weddings under her belt. You have hired an artist who loves creating bouquets with lots of texture and shapes, unique color palettes or unexpected I might add, painterly like a living watercolor painting, knowledge of the seasons and their flowers and top of the heap personal service!
