Bride with a Autumn bouquet of flowers

Fall Wedding Color Palette

Choosing the colors for your wedding is probably one of the most significant choices you’ll make at the beginning of this adventure! A color choice may be because you’ve always loved that color. Or you saw a Pinterest picture and decided upon your colors through online sources. Colors can also be chosen right from your grandmother’s garden or from a snapshot on your memorable vacation. Obviously, color is everywhere!

A Spring Color Palette

Despite the trend for all white wedding flowers, I think brides are missing this bit of you in your wedding. I have always loved pink and green. I still do, so everything in my wedding was pink and green from the emerald green of my bridesmaids to the pink lilies I have always loved. We even had pink and green mints-yes, it was the ‘80’s.

But if colors elude you and you can’t make up your mind, let your wedding florist advise you. Take a few photos along with you at your consultation and allow the professional to suggest a color palette for you.

This is what we do as florists-we paint with flowers and know just how to combine those that harmonize and those that will enhance your venue. Ask for 3 color palettes and go from there.

Here are some sample color combinations for each season.

Let me know which you’d love at your wedding here in France!
