This 17th-century château is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and serene parkland, making it an idyllic setting for a romantic wedding. With its stunning architecture and inviting interiors, Château Colaissière provides a perfect backdrop for unforgettable celebrations, offering couples a blend of historic beauty and modern amenities in a picturesque countryside setting. Rhiannon and Dave had their ceremony out amongst 2 large old trees where a billowing curtain created the backdrop where I hung birdcages of flowers and filled an aisle with candles and petals. Their dinner tables were candelabras where flowers draped from the candle branches and old books gave a vintage vibe to the old chateau surroundings. There is even a moat!

Its blend of historic charm and modern comfort creates an inviting atmosphere, making Château de Ronchay an ideal choice for couples seeking a tranquil yet sophisticated setting for their wedding. Rodrigo and Genevieve had a midsummer wedding here which was very quaint and intimate. With the rosier outdoors, all I had to do was enhance a little on the already built gazebo. The aisle chairs had floral bouquets lining the aisle and dinner table centerpieces were summer flowers inside gilded birdcages.

Kim and Boris had their ceremony under the trees near the chateau which is quite expansive with patios and terraces. The reception was in the club house a little bit down their driveway and is a huge venue with kitchen, bar and hall. It is also part of a hotel there and golfing can be played on site. The flowers were extensive down the aisle with ribbon connecting guest chairs. These were moved to the stairs for the cocktail hour. The reception had half elevated greens and white flowers on gold stands and the other half circular arrangements. Candles prevailed throughout. Photos courtesy of Nicolas Martin Photography
