An Intimate May Wedding in France

Morgan and Cody are Americans who chose France as their location for an intimate wedding. Morgan’s mom told me that having gone to a few huge weddings of friends, Morgan decided it wasn’t for her and chose a stunning chateau manor house called Château Bouthonvilliers in the Normandy region of France.

I had the honor of creating their floral decorations; minimal color using just white and greens, no attendants and the ultimate in chic simplicity!

As in any major event, there are bound to be hiccups that change the course of how we originally imagined. This being in this case, rain! But in the end, I think the stunning portico with its old pavers and grill gates set off the intimate gathering and created by accident the exact destination wedding look that the couple were dreaming of.
